I am setting up a W2000 server with 2 NICs. There are two physically separate subnets. I would like workstations on one subnet to be able to "see" workstations on the other subnet. I have read so many articles and FAQ's on the subject but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I'm using W2000 Server SP2 because the server will be used for Accpac which does not work on SP3.

If you don't have a router - you can configure RRAS on W2K for this. There is mucho documentation for this. Just make sure to lookup RRAS routing.

When you say you would like workstations on one subnet to be able to "see" workstations on the other subnet, are you talking about browsing to them in My Network Places? In that case, set up WINS on your W2000 server with 2 NICs, and configure each client (on both subnets) to register with this WINS server when it boots up.
