How to make movie subtitle? 1

Hi, there

I am making a flash movie, which needs to show the caption/subtitle. How can I do that? Do I need to use actionscript? If so..which ones are there?

You could simply use dynamic textfields laid over and synced to the movie. Regards,

You have a dynamic textfield on it's own layer above all other layers, and simply change the displayed text in this dynamic textfield on sync points you establish in your movie. Thus on the first frame...

my_textfield.text = This is the first subtitle..."

Then on frame 55 (or whatever)...

my_textfield.text = This is the second subtitle..."
