Ok, I've searched all over this forum and was unable to find this answer. By the way, this is my first post. I'm currently working at a company that uses Lotus Notes 4.6 on most computers. I had never had any experience with Notes untill coming to this company. I've learned pretty quickly how to install the whole system from scratch and how to make adjustments. I have a user, though, that when she double clicks to open Lotus, it does not ask her for a password and displays the Lotus Workspace/desktop. I searched everywhere and could not find where a password required for the workspace/desktop could be set. Lotus will only ask her for her password once she double clicks on a particular database such as her Favorites or Inbox. Can anyone help me with this please? Thank you.

A simple way is to set a startup database, for example the users mail database. This database should have a password. To set a startup db, go File -- Tools --- User Preferences ---- Basics ----- Startup Database. Select whichever database you like. Obviously, mail or something that your company requires at login. Like an in/out board. There are other ways but I can't think of one right now. I'll let you know later.
