How to make Flowchart shapes resize to autofit text labels?

I'm using an engine that feeds specs to Visio, which then generates a flowchart. Often, if a text string is too long, I'm left to tediously hand-correct the size of shapes, especially the diamond-shaped "decision" symbol, to contain the text label without overlapping onto the background.

Is there some easier way? Some automated control?
