how to make curved text ?

i am trying to make an ad that has the logo in curved text. i did get info a while ago to start with an oval text box, change it to a bezier line, then use the scissors tool to cut off the parts on the bottom not needed, this has worked, but everytime i try it, it very hard to get it to work right & then i cant move it on the page once done.

any other ideas would be helpful

after you have created your text, go under the Item menu, select edit and uncheck Shape. This should change your curved text into a grouped item that is easier to move.
