how to make an executable file or a setup

hi, all,
i have a small database of MS Access, and a folder to store the output file from my application, and another windows application to launch from my application.

what should i do to deploy the application.

for my understanding, an executable file seems not possible, since i have to let the user to specify where the database is, and the directory to store the output files...

so maybe something like a setup is needed.

is it the case? and i want to make a setup for my application. what should i do?

Write it as an HTML web page and change the extension to .hta. It then becomes a hypertext application.

You have a choice of VBScript or Javascript for the command line bits plus a very simple GUI - basically everything that you can do in web pages. There are quite a few examples of how to do this on the web.
