how to make AI free unused memory

when u open few files in AI, it relocates as much memory for the files as they need.
however when u close these files in AI - it does not free the memory.
List of Processes show the dynamic on non-stop growing of memory allocated for AI, evem if there is no open file in it.

as a workaround i close AI and open again.

is there a better way to force AI to free an unused memory?
