Hello,

I just started using Illustrator and am wondering if anyone can provide, a clear step-by-step set of instructions on how to make a teardrop. I'd like to make a very minimal teardrop in the shape of this:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Using the elipse tool, create a perfect circle holding down the shift key.
2. Using the direct selection tool (keyboard 'a'), select the top anchor point, and drag it straight up by holding the shift key.
3. Using the convert ancor point tool (shift-c), click on the top anchor point to get rid of the handles.

There is your teardrop!
