How to make a report field pick values from different fields

I have got a report which is based on a table with 5 fields. I would like to use only a single field in the<br>
report which should show the highest filled in field for each record. Eg. for a Record if<br>
field1,field2,field3 is filled in, then the report field should show field3. For another record if<br>
field1,field2,field3 are blank and if only field4 is filled in, then the report field should show field4 only. Can<br>
somebody help <br>

Write a public function that takes five parameters, and returns the highest one. Make a query based on the table with the five fields, with a calculated field in the query that calls the function with the five parameters being your fields names.
