Hi,

How to make a query from using the mouse (not the Window Command).
I open File->New->Query.

Then from Query Designer, I select the fields to add.

Then I write a sequence like:select * from table1
and I receive an error message.

Thanks

If you use the query designer, add your fields and set your filter, you can access the code by selecting View SQL from the menu, copy the code and paste the code where you need it.

By default the query designer places the data into a query.

INTO query.

I do not see an INTO statement on your SQL. Is it possible you stated to select another output type but did not provide all the information (like file or table name)?
