Hello

Can anyone help/know of any tutorials on how to make a hi-res PDF from an InDesign file? I've tried searching and messing around with my InDesign, but haven't been able to figure it out.

I have CS2 on a PC and also have Acrobat Professional 7.0 (with distiller)....is there another program I need?

Thank you for any feedback!

To make high resolution output, you need high resolution input.

If you have high resolution input, then simply adjust your PDF export settings to the resolution that you need.

What is your definition of high resolution PDF? If someone else is asking you to supply a high resolution PDF, ask them for a PDF profile for what they require. That profile will define what 'high resolution' means.

Whenever, I've seen the term "hi-res", it's referred to a press quality pdf - 300 dpi for most images (1200 for monochrome), 2400 dpi for text.

Both the press and X1A export settings provide that.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
