I need to know what's the best method for sending emails
there are two technologies which i know are
1) CDO
2) MAPI
but both have some serious prob which i can see is that
a) you need to have propert outlook setting to send the email
b) CDO has so many different versions depending upon the client and how one can be sure which version is correct version? we are facing problem we built a custom made email.dll in WindowsXP development environment but when we use that at client which have Windows 2000 we are experiencing problem that Can't creat CDO object
i want to build a .dll which can be used by any application like WEB and Windows can take advantage of either the above technoligies with no limitation or some other method
