Hi!

I am a newcomer on the md110 and i have to update a bc12 sp 7 to sp 8. Therefore I want to make a backup with pc regen. I have no problems to generate the data.cmd file but I have problems to transfer the file with winfiol. I drag the file and drop it in the opend winfiol channel. Then I get this printout: </*******************************************************************/<

Many thanks for your help!

Best regards

That printout is the first line of the data.cmd file. If you open data.cmd in notepad you will see all of the information messages and print commands.

You need to configure your WinFiol traffic settings.

Which version of WinFiol are you running?

You can normally find the settings under the "Run" menu and "Traffic Setup". Another window will appear with 5 groups of options.

Under the pause option you should have a tick next to "Exchange Errors" and "Script Errors". "Missing Semicolon" should be blank.

The Breakpoins option sould be empty.

The Flow option should hav a tick next to "Retry on function busy" and "Send comments"

That is how I've set mine up and the data.cmd file runs perfectly.

Let us know how you get on.

You can also FTP onto the NIU and copy the reload directories onto your PC )
