Hi,

We moved to 802.1x authentication, depending on your credentials you either stay in the unauthenticated VLAN or you switch to one of the two authenticated VLAN's.
This means you switch from a VLAN where you cannot find the Netware servers to a VLAN where you can find your login server.

Now at this moment the login process with the netware client is a terrible hassle:
First you must manually apply login "workstation only", then you authenticate yourself and switch VLAN's
Now you can find he login server and manually start the login from the start menu.

Is there a way to automate this?
With good old Win98 and the Microsoft client for Netware (IPX) the login automatically started as soon as the Netweare server was reachable.

Possible too with W2K or XP clients?

Awaiting great wisdom,
Loek Gijben
