How to log off a user in Windows Nt Workstation? 1

I was installing a Office 2000 Service Pack 3 and I don't know the reason my Windows NT workstation doesn't logoff a user.
Look the steps I did;

1. I turn on the computer and log in as Administrator
2. Removed the old version of Office 2000
3. Installed the new version
4. Installed the SR1.
5. Installed the Service Pack 3
6. Reboot
When I tried to log in as a user (not administrator), the computer logged itself and open the sesion without ask the password or username.
Please somebody could help me???

I think you may have it backwards. It's not that the system is failing to log the user off, but automatically logging the user on at startup.

The user has probably installed TweakUI or has modified the registry.

I checked my register and noticed that Autoadminlogon was set to "1" . I changed it to "0" and erase the value of defaultpassword and everything goes back to normal
