Hello All,

I manage like 100 networked computers connected to MS 2003 domain controllers.

I want to restrict my users from changing/modifying the Desktop Image and screen savers of their computers.

I want all domain computers to have company (Uniform) logo on the desktop.

I also want to specify uniform screen saver on the desktop.

I will appreaciate contribution from all.

Thank you.

i would use mandatory profiles

1. Creat a user account for purposes of making the profile (PROFILEUSER)
2. Log in as that user and configure the profile the way i want it
3. Log in as administrator and copy to profile to a directory on the server. However, before i do the copying, i add the "Authenticated Users" group to the permitted to use section in the copy profile dialog box.
4. Rename NTUSER.dat to NTUSER.man
5. Change the profile path in AD to the path of the profile on the server for the appropriate users.

Both are correct to give you what you need but using GP is the better solution.

Both have strong advantages, it's a question of what you want.
