Actually i want to change the announcement which is already feeded with the new one , so tell me the procedure.

You cannot import MP3 file it has to be in .wav format. I will presume for the moment you are referring to scripting playing a greeting, you must first go to scripting determine the associated access mailbox and associated greeting ID number. Then once armed with that you then go to application builder and open said mail box open said greeting ID number then right click it will give you an option to import your greeting.

i have converted MP3 to wave , also got the access of application ID whose name is "call center" and ID is 1021 , while dialing same SDN i am getting nothing . Actually i have 4 blocks when i open the respective file.
1. begin/start block
2. Main menu block having 9 sub titles
3. transfer block
4. waiting message block,
So i have two announcements to be replaced one at block 2(main menu) and other in block 4(waiting message block),
Question
1. How can i listen the respective block existing greeting.
2. How can i upload new greeting and with which ID.
3. What will happend to old announcement after loading i mean can i load back the previous greeting if some thing happened wrong .

1. Goto the block, select current announcement and press 'record' button. Fill in your phone number the system has to dial. A player opens, press 'Play' to listen to the announcement. (NOT record again since this will delete current message).
3.a. Select 'Save' to save the current announcement as a .wav file (your phone connection still has to be up).
2. Upload via 'Import' as described by johnpoole.
3.b. First do step 3.a (create a backup .wav file) and repeat step 2 (upload your backup .wav).
You always can cancel and not save the application if your not sure it went fine. Also you can 'Save as' your current application a play around with that one without any cause.

On the block There is not any option to select and listen "current announcement" and second is that customer gave me pre-recorded announcement which i have converted in to wave file.hat this is the right selection in which i have to change and implement .So tell me how can i listen existing announcement and replace with newer one .

Go into your CallPilot manager under System drop down and select "Service Directory Number" Find the DN associated with "Voice Item Maintenance" This is the number you can dial to record or listen to prompts directly from the phoneset. When you dial this it will ask you for the Application Id, Then the password for that Application. From there it just like being in a mail box, 5 Records, 2 Plays greeting etc. . .

If your importing new prompt the import option gives you the opportunity to add a new voice item to the block. If you do this this will save previous message as item "whatever is currently defined" If you do not add new voice prompt and just edit current it will record over existing prompt. Keep in mind once you import new message either way you must save application before new voice message will play. . . .

From the open application, select File/properties and then click on the Security tab to see if Telset Maintenance is turned on (it defaults to not be turned on for some reason). You don't have to know the password to change it.

Hi guys the problem is solved , thanks to every one
