how to load an image in a particular frame 1

hi,
my main page has 2 frames , left and right. i pass a variable to the left frame.
in my left frame, there is a query output. each output is a hyper link to the right frame (kind of detail frame).
the first time that the main page is called , i would like an image to appear in the right frame.
i tried different "onload" methods in the three different (coldfusion) pages but none works.
is there any thing i should try ?

Go into your frameset, then down to the right frame and set the source to the source of the image. That way, everytime someone goes to the main page the default in the right will be the image.
