How to load a cold ASR1002

Hi All.
I have been asked a question, and I can't find a definitve answer on Cisco.com, nor can I get hands on with an example of the hardware to test for myself.
Does anyone know if ROMMON on an ASR 1002 allows the use of tftpdnld in the same way as other types of router? ALso is there a copy routine in ROMMON that allows direct copying from a USB memory stick via the USB port on the ESP card?
