Hi,

I have searched everywhere for an answer to this question:

How do I create a link in an email to, let's say, an excel spreadsheet that I have stored on a network drive??

I have tried using @Command([Execute],but it keeps telling me it can't find the file?!?!

Please include the syntax!!

TIA

Mike

Try to use a button that has this @Command (all on one line):

@Command([Execute];"c:\\progra~1\\office97\\excel\\excel97.exe";"h:\\data\\excel01.xls")

Above I am assuming the Excel executable file is located at

c:\Program Files\Office97\Excel

and the data file is on network drive h: at

h:\data

and is called excel01.xls

Hope this helps!
