Here are 3 tables:
CSHDR
Inv no. Date Amount
CS1234 01/08/01 $50
CS1235 02/08/01 $100
CS1236 03/08/01 $69

DEHDR
Inv No. Date Amount
DE24 01/08/01 $5
DE60 03/08/01 $10

REHDR
Inv No. Date Amount
RE69 01/08/01 $40
RE45 02/08/01 $15

Here is the result I want:
Date Inv.No CS DE no. DE RE no. RE Total
01/08/01 CS1234 $50 DE24 $5 RE69 $40 $15
02/08/01 CS1235 $100 RE45 $15 $85
03/08/01 CS1236 $69 DE60 $10 $79

*the total = CS + DE - RE

I don't know how to link up all the tables and even I use the "Inv No' to link up, when I select the date range, it cannot product the report I want. Please help. Thank you

A bit confusing.... But I think the best thing to try is to add 3 Groups - Each of the Date fields.
Suppress all the group headers and footers and put all the details in the details section. This will hopefully bring back the information that you need.
Hope it works, let me know if not.

Thank you for your fast reply. However I cannot solve the problem. When I use the Inv no as an index to link up all the tables and then I select the date range, only the 'CSxxx' come out. I try to use 'Date' to link up the tables but I cannot. Please help.

You can't append records from different tables using a CR link. Links add columns, not rows, to the result table. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
