I have recreated a new report from an existing report but accidentlally saved the .rol file. Now i cannot see the old query (.rol) file. I have the orinigal from the install but cannot link the originl file (.rod) to the original .rol. Is there a way to do this? I have renamed both files but they are not linking.

Homer: And how.

You could try right clicking one of the components from the ROL file, select slot information, and click on resync.

Alternatively, if you have saved the old restored library in the same directory as the 'new one', then you may have to remove the components from the report, open library viewer, remove the new library, select the old library and rebuild.

Additionally, go to tools, library organiser, and put the right library back, then resync.
