How to link from a drop down menu

I am developing a site using FrontPage 2000 and the frames option. In the contents frame(left side)I have placed a drop down menu. I want to link from each of the subjects in the drop down menu to a page that will be viewed in the main page. How do I do that?

You'll need a Javascript to handle the linking part of it and you'll also need to be sure to set the target of those links to open in the main frame.
