how to link a word doc into director

Hi,

Does anyone know how to link a word document in director MX ie a hyperlink which when clicked will then open up a word doc on my hard disk?

baffled!

This is messy, you need to rely on users having word or a viewer on computer - Just a thought, might be easier to save to their computer, then they can open as they please.

You'll need FILEIO xtra for this...
