how to link 2 field into one

first field is year and -month togethersecond field is an autonumber I Want it to automaticly istall in the new field called "Code" Now the product is inputted as a purchased Item I would like mY "code" to input at the receiving form after I called Up the product using the Purchase number.
Hope this enough infoand someone can help
