Hi,

I am new to Windows server 2003, we have a server 2003 std. edition. Could anybody guide me how to limit access of a user connecting to server via terminal services?

I would appriciate your help.

Thanks,
Bob

With the client you can create a Start Program in the Program tab of the RDP client.

Thanks Scoot,

I appreciate your response, but a smart user can go anywhere once he/she login to the server. I want to restrict them to only one application, so that they should not go nowhere and modify nothing.

Thx,

Bob

Hmmmm, in that case there is a paper on the Microsoft web site somewhere about securing the Terminal Server. Cant give a link as time does not permit just now.

You can enable a GPo under terminal services-->Start a program on connection, which can then be applied to your TS app users
