How to limit access to 2 users?

I am using a WRT54G. I would like to setup a policy that would allow access only between the hours that I specify. I created a policy to enable internet access between 9am and 9pm and specified the pc's(x-box's) by there MAC address's. I then applied the settings. It is not working though. I expect that at 9pm my kids be booted off of X-Box Live because the router disconnected the connections. Is this not how it should work? Am I doing something wrong?

I think the router will prevent systems from accessing the Internet at the specified time but will not disconnect a current session.
