How to let VBA dial telnet, or VBcode to access telnet?

What I have in mind is to let excel(VBA) dial telnet, then capture data, process and paste in excel range.

Or, VB6 code to access telnet, capture data, process data, then paste in excel.

I know something in the process/paste part, its the telnet part I don't know how.

Please tell me how. :)
 
VBA does not support Telnet directly as far as I can tell..

I believe there are 3rd party/commercial solutions, but I'm not familiar with them.

The best bet (at least from my perspective) is to just use VB, and the winsock control. If you have access to vb or vb.net.
