Hi all,

There is this NEC 8100 pbx that users makes outgoing calls through an audio codes gateway for sip trunking.
It is using 4 sip trunks, so only 4 users can dialout at the same time.
They have pstn lines and what they want to is when all 4 sip trunks are occupied that the next caller can make outgoing through th pstn line automatically.

Can this be done in this pbx, because I know that in the pbx if a pstn trunk is busy, it will take the other pstn trunk

Thank you in advance

Put your analog trunks in trunk group 2. Set your trunk priority to grab group 1 trunks first, then group 2 trunks as the next order.

Hi belevedere,

I saw in the pbx that the config for the trunks are as follow:

For PSTN

Trunk Trunk Group Priority
01 1 1
02 1 2
03 1 3
04 1 4
05 1 5

For Sip

Trunk Trunk Group Priority
21 21 1
22 21 2
23 21 3
24 21 4

When calling, the call goes out the sip (21-24) first, does it still need to be group one or is there a way around it so it can take group 1 as second option if all of group 21 is full
