How can I Label used tapes without confirming by clicking the OK button to re-label used tapes. Because it takes so much time to sit and wait waiting for each tape to label. I know when I put in fresh new tapes then it doesn't ask to overwrite the old label, but simply goes aheads and labels all tapes if they are in sequence. All I need to do is specify the FROM Slot and TO Slot.

anybody knows? Thanks.

try labeling by command line

nsrjb -L -Y -b"Database" -S 120-125 -f/dev/rmt/22mnb

nsrjb = We know what that is
-L = Label
-Y = Do not ask for confirmation
-b"Database" = I'm labeling to database pool
-S 120-125 = Slots 120-125
-f /dev/rmt/22mnb = What drive to label in (you can leave this off for most cases)

be sure to use capital L Y and S and lowercase b and f

Hope this helps some

Yes it worked so smoothly. All I did was specify the POOL and it automatically labeled the new tapes with next available tape label. Thanks :)
