How to know the current performance of the cube such as the cube creation, regeneration and time taken to access a cube by a PowerPlay client? What are the determinants?

What are the detailed steps to check the cube performance and report performance? And what type of data in PowerPlay Transformer/PowerPlay client helps in this regard?

How to improve the report performance on Upfront?
