How to keep Tomcat running after terminating remote session

I'm doing a remote terminal to my Solaris 8 to start my Tomcat. The Tomcat is running properly until I end my remote session with my server.

I want to know how to keep this application alive even after I terminated my remote session with the server.

If you precede your command with nohup, that should keep your session alive. man nohup for more details, but it basically prevents any kill signal (such as the termination of a remote session) from affecting the command. HTH.
