How to keep spamd running?

I am running spamassasin in Red Hat 8 but it keeps dying on me, how can I keep it running? if you can give me a step by step instructions, I will appreaciate it.
I am new to linux and somebody else set this for me.


It wasn't me, it was someone that looks a lot like me . . . .
