How to keep preferred view in outlook calendar 1

Could anyone please tell me how to keep the montly view in my outlook calendar. Each time I shut down the view goes back to a daily view. I have looked back over FAQ.
Am using windows7

I have now problem retaining the monthly view once I set it.

Assuming Outlook 2007 use File ->Exit to close Outlook the first time after changing from daily to monthly view. Using the X to close any program will sometimes result in the last configuration changes being lost.

Thanks for that tip. It would seem that I need to do this for each month of the year, then file close which does seem a bit archaic of Microsoft but any workaround is good if it does the job. Thanks again

I'm glad that you got it sorted.

You should only need to do the work around once and it will work for all the months.
