I am new administrating LOTUS NOTES, and I need to know
what I have to do or set in Lotus to keep copy or replica of every single email deleted by the user, the situation is that the manager want to know and check some user to see what they are sending out and receiving after they delete the mail, do I need more disk space to activate that, please explain what I have to do in order to activate this function. Note I am running Lotus notes 5.0.8.

Thanks

Use the "Free" new Journalling feature new in Domino 6.

This allows you to trap an encrypted copy of all messages handled by the router task, whether the user deletes them (inbound) or chooses not to save (outbound).

You can set it up for specific users or all users. Consider setting the journal periodic rollover period to something low like 7 days. That way disk space is not impacted too much and your manager gets a week to 'snoop'.
