how to justify bottom of column 1

There is a menu item for justifying type side to side. But how do justify columns at the bottom of a column. I can do it manually and it is a pain. Any tips? I design a newspaper and this is a critical need for us.

Hi Lessa and everyone,

I followed your suggestion and did some more reading in the help section.

I don't seem to be able to access the controls for vertical justification. I tried highlighting the text, the frame, etc and interface with the adjustment the top or bottom or amount remains greyed out. Any ideas?

Can you post a screen grab of you problem?
Making sure we can see the text frames and dialogue box?
