How to jump from one frameset to another

I have a manager frameset, where the co. managers do their work. I have a separate Scheduler frameset, where the schedulers do theirs. Based on log on variables, they are sent to one or the other.

Now mgmt wants to be able to jump to the scheduler side. So I put a button on the Mgr side, but it tried to load the Scheduler stuff into the Mgr frameset. How can I accomplish this jump?

Open a completely new window, into which you load the appropriate frameset.

You would probably want to use target="_blank" as alluded to by tgreer. I think foamcow thought that you wanted to load it into the same mgr frameset.

Using target="_blank" will mean that both framesets will be open and management will be able to switch between them at will.

to clarify,

target="_blank" will load the new frameset in a completely new window.

target="_top" (or was it target="_parent") will load the new frameset into the SAME window completely replacing the existing one
