How to issue notification messages from a CTreeCtrl to its parent?

Hello, guys!
I would like to ask you a question. I have palced a CTreeCtrl object into a dialog and the tree control has checkboxes at its nodes. How could the parent dialog be notified of the changes that the user does when he or she checkes or uncheckes the checkboxes standing at the tree nodes?

Can you give me a piece of advice?!
