I'm trying to print mailing labels. The front end is ASP and the backend is MS Access. As MS Access is better suited for printing mailing labels I want to invoke Access from within my ASP application. The data that goes into the mailing labels is generated by a query which is defined by the user on an ASP page. Like for example if the user wants to print a list of all people entered between a range of dates.
What I want to do is transfer the data from the query to MS Access and make it print labels with the click of a button. I hope I made sense.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you are doing any of this in ASP. ASP is server side programming intended for a web browser. How would you send it to a printer? If you tried to do this server-side, it would print out on YOUR printer, not on a client's printer.

I don't think what your asking is possible. You could have ASP take the Access database and generate an HTML page that could be printed out over labels, but you can't have Acess generate mailing lables and send those to a client browser. Plus, if you did, the browser wouldn't know what to do with them. Harold Blackorby
