Well heres a weird one. A user is getting errors in excel 2007 -

Not enough system resources to display completely.

Im 99% sure its formulas and such within spreadsheets they are in, using and /or creating, but the user is of course blaming everything else. Laptop works as expected when excel is not running...thats a no-brainer to me.
So what I wanna do is open a new spreadsheet and load something in to recreate the error. Is this possible?

Other thoughts are Pivot tables going too far? Or maybe some sort of circular calculating loop?

First go to
and perform steps 1, 2, and 3.

See if things improve.

With Excel closed, find a file with xlb extension and rename or delete it

See if things improve.

Next remove Find Fast if installed. (yes, I know the article relates to 2K)

mmm as soon as they allow me to look at their laptop, Ill let you know what happens.

Have you tried the spreadsheet on another workstation? If it is a problem in Excel one would think that it would ocurr on any pc
