I have been tasked with setting up GroupWise 6.5 on a Windows 2003 server and am having trouble installing it. Per the instructions, I try to create a GroupWise system. This fails and tells me that I must run this on a system that has the GroupWise client installed. I have installed the client but still get the same message. I have also tried using the link that Novell mailed me, but that fails as well. When I log into the Novell site, I get a generic message that there is an error processing my request. Before purchasing this, I was told that GroupWise will run on a 2003 server. Was I misled? If not, am I missing a step in my installation instructions?

Does edirectory and active directory work together or separate? I have a client that wants to do the same thing.

By default eDir & AD services are independent of each other when running on the same server. eDir is needed on a MS server for the sole benefit of GW. eDir and AD can be synchronized via a few different ways. Nsure Identity Manager being but one.
