Hi,

I have a server with sco unixware and i would like that the system will do automatically a time change for the winter time. I'm located in West Europe.

Someone can give me the command for setting up this ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, the default timezone is kept in file /etc/TIMEZONE

You change this value using tz (try a man tz to check out the exact syntax, I've never had to use it). If you do an:

echo $TZ

that should tell you your current timezone setting. Also try a search for TIMEZONE in the searchable threads of this forum.

For info, our server (based in the UK) has a setting of:

GMT0BST,M3.5.0/1,M10.5.0/1

if that's of any use to you. Cheers.

read "# man F timezone"
Syntax is tricky, but only first time.
10 minute concentration and you can edit yourself /etc/TIMEZONE or understand /etc/tz (simple script,
generating $TZ and write it to /etc/TIMEZONE
