I need to install Cisco Call Manager in a lab so I can get familiar with it before we go live with it. I have a Compaq server. When I put disk 1 in and boot the server, I get a message 'The OS version that supports the detected server is 2000.2.4'. Is there a way to get past this block? If I need to get 2000.2.4, where can I get it and how much will effect CCM 4.1?

How old is the server? If it an older server your CCM Disk 1 Hardware detection for CCM 4.1 Disk won't recognize it. You can do the install for a generic PC and you should be OK for the most part. Search this forum for the procedure. Another option is to get the disks for an older version of CCM like CCM 3.3, install the OS from there, then upgrade to a CCM 4.1 compatible OS.

Our office has decided to put the actual servers in one of our racks and load CCM on it. When CISCO comes in to install it, we'll wipe it and let them configure it.

Thanks for the input.
