how to install a machine with an mksysb-file

hi,
i have a file with an mksysb-image(smitty mksysb to a file) and want to use this
file to install a new machine. What have i to do?.

The only way(That I know of) is to restore the mksysb file using NIM(Network Installation Manager).NIM is not very intuitive and requires some groundwork before it can be used.
