Hello!

I need to dual boot between '98 and XP pro, and I have found instructions on how to create the dual boot system, however the instructions just say to install '98 in MS-Dos mode, and I don't know how to do that. And I can't find instructions anywhere on how to do that.

Could someone please tell me how to install '98 in MS-Dos mode or direct me to a site that has the instructions???

Thank you so much for any help you provide!!!

The instructions are in the Windows98 Resource Kit Book Online, which is on the Windows98 CD in the Help subfolder of the Reskit folder. The help file is rk98book.chm.
You will need a Windows98 startup disk (or emergency boot disk) and your Bios must be set to boot from floppy disk as the first boot choice. If you don't have one you can create one on another machine running win98 by going to Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs /Startup Disk or download one here:

hope you're sorted. You can actually install 98 how you like - all that matters is 98 is installed first, and the 2 operating systems are on separate partitions (or disks). The XP install will create your dual boot menu.
