How to insert outbound CLI in Dial Codes

By default, the outbound CLI is the DDI on the incoming call route for an extension. Our's is the last 4 of the DID), and we'd like to add that for outbound caller id. I know that "E" is used for the extension, so is there a code for the CLI? For example:

Dial3K1
NS212555E <- Adds the extension of the caller, but I need the 4 digits on the DID

I'd like to add the CLI instead, so the full caller number will be displayed (obviously trying to avoid creating dial shortcodes for all of these users)

Thanks for any suggestions

I'm a little confused, outbound CLI is your outbound caller id. And you are saying that the last four digits match you extension range so by default it is sending each callers own DID, are you saying you want to add the extn number on the end of the DID again?

Do you perhaps need this:

Outgoing Caller ID Matching

In cases where a particular Incoming Number is routed to a specific individual user, the IP Office will attempt to use that Incoming Number as the user's caller ID when they make outgoing calls. This requires that the Incoming Number is a full number suitable for user as outgoing caller ID and acceptable to the line provider.

When this is the case, the character i can also be added to the Incoming Number field. This character does not affect the incoming call routing. However when the same Incoming Number is used for an outgoing caller ID, the calling party number plan is set to ISDN and the type is set to National. This option may be required by some network providers.

Thanks for the quick replies... Right now, if I leave the Dial code at N, it sends the 4 digits we get from our inbound call route. I want to send my prefix AND those 4 digits. When someone calls one of my DID's (example 212-555-1234), telco sends me 1234 . I want to send our Outbound caller ID for that extension: 212-555-1234. Right now, if I leave it blank, the outbound is 1234.

I hope I am making more sense??

Thanks again :)

Yes you do :)

You can not change that because your provider does not allow you to do that
You need to talk to your provider

I am not experienced with it because we always send all digits around here

Ahh...I suppose I could have them send us all 10 digits. The "E" code allows us to pass the extension, you would think there would be a code for CLI.

Thanks again!!

You don't need the code for CLI, it is sending the CLI but as your providor is ending only 4 digits that is all they are recieving and it gives the impression it's the extn number being sent. We recieve six digits e.g 234500 and my extn number is 500 when I call out it sends 234500 by default. So basically whatever you enter in the Incoming call route is what it sends.
