How to insert a GUID into a User.Value cell.

Does anybody know how to insert a GUID into a User-Defined
cell. This is so that when a master shape is dragged into
a drawing, it inserts a GUID into a User-Defined cell.

Will this be a VBA procedure or can a formula be inserted
into the value cell?
Whatever can someone devise me as to the code needed.
