How to increase volume on analogue trunks

I currently have a problem with my NEC NEAX 2000 IPS where any incoming and outgoing calls made on CO Trunks are very quiet. I handled this before but then changed and upgraded CPU cards and dont remember how I did this at the time. Does anyone know how to increase the volume on incoming and outgoing CO trunk calls?
