Please help I have bought a canon N124OU scanner and the accompanying software is arcsoft photostudio But when I went to scan a document I rec'd a message to increase the available memory. I went to Apple support and followed the instructions. but I still get the message. I am beginngin to go bald from tearing my hair out. ~ [thumbsdown][cry]

I know somone here will have the answer.
I usually run Mac OS X 10.2.2 jaguar but I have dual OS with Mac OS 9.2.2 Classic which is what the software needs. I did download a new driver but this hasnt helped the memory situation.
Make me happy again

OK, Shirley.
When you say that you followed the instructions on Apple support, did you
1. find and select the "Photostudio" application file 2. "Get Info"
3. select the drop-down that says "General Information" and select the option for "Memory"
4. see a box that says Suggested size XXXX Minimum Size XXXX and Preferred Size XXXX?
5. Did you change preferred to be 2.5 times the suggested and then change minimum to be the suggested size?

Hope this helps
