hi ,
We are using dstx 7.5.1 version.
we deploy dstx maps in unix enviroment for transformation of data from frontend to backend.
earliar we were using arch code MQ adapter(implemented in c)
now we are using dstx MQ adapter. the performence of the server is down now it is using 70% of CPU earliar it was using only 6-10% of CPU. is there any setting need to done in dstx.ini to gain the same performence again?
in dstx.ini
MAXTHREAD value is set to 20
RUNMAPCHASE value is set to 300
WatchMaxThreads value is set to 0

When do you see the high CPU, is it all the time (even when there is no data) or when you are processing data?

Where is the CPU used - wait / system / user?

when data is processed then only cpu usese is high.

Where is the CPU used - wait / system / user?

you could try running the profiler in TX 8 to get a breakdown of where the time is being spent.

It has been a while since you started this thread but if you are still having this problem you can try to change the dstx.ini InitPendingIdleMS from 1 (1 millsec) to 1000 (1 sec). This is how often an event driven map will see if there is something to do.
